Documenting Children's Learning Outdoors
Through engaging hands-on activities, participants will discover new methods for supporting and documenting children’s learning indoors and outdoors. Ways to more effectively “listen” to children’s visual-spatial language, and techniques for documenting work in outdoor classrooms using “Nature Notes” will be explored. Nature Notes can be a valuable tool in the process of recording and assessing children’s learning as well as an advocacy tool to use with parents and the broader professional community.
